Amy Bice Remembered
We have learned of the passing of our dear sister, Amy Bice. Her family has asked for privacy as they begin to process this profound loss, and we honor that request with care and respect. Amy was initiated into the Lambda Sigma Chapter in 2018 and served the chapter faithfully in several leadership roles. She was currently serving as the Area 4 Coordinator, Lambda Sigma Chapter's First Vice-President, and most recently slated to serve as President for the 2026 to 2028 biennium, reflecting the trust placed in her and the steadiness of her commitment. Her presence shaped our work, strengthened our bonds, and left a lasting imprint on the chapter.
Leadership Training:
ORIENTATION & ORGANIZATIONAL STRUCTURE, Part 1
This training outlines the specific duties and governance standards for the Lambda Sigma Chapter's leadership team. The text provides a comprehensive breakdown of executive expectations, ranging from the President’s role in state-level representation to the Treasurer’s oversight of financial compliance and IRS filings. It serves as a functional roadmap for both incoming and outgoing officers to ensure the chapter maintains organizational alignment with Texas State requirements. Key administrative tasks, such as membership recruitment, meeting facilitation, and the maintenance of official records, are clearly assigned to designated roles, such as the Vice Presidents and Secretaries. Ultimately, these guidelines establish a structured framework for leadership to effectively manage chapter operations and uphold the society’s professional standards.
